Behaviour Support Practitioner in
South Brisbane and surrounding areas to help deliver the high quality of care that they are reputable for.


About the Role and Your Responsibilities:

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, your primary role will be to provide evidence-based positive behaviour support services you kids and young people.

This includes conducting comprehensive participant assessments, developing support plans, and collaborating with staff for successful plan implementation.

Your commitment to a person-centred, strengths-based, and least restrictive approach will be essential in ensuring the highest quality of care.


  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate behaviour support strategies
  • Support transitions of new participants with behaviour support requirements
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrate advanced critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Contribute to systems, policy, and procedure development
  • Participate in special projects as required
  • Review and evaluate participant services

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Tertiary qualification in Social or Behavioural Sciences, Psychology, Social Work, Education/Teaching, or a related field
  • Knowledge of NIDS, disability industry, Disability Services Standards, Workers Compensation, and WHS legislations
  • Experince working with kids and young people
  • Strong interpersonal communication in a clinical health context
  • Advanced written and verbal skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management
  • Proven project development, management, and evaluation skills
  • Autonomy, initiative, and selfevaluation skills
  • Experience in the disability sector is essential
  • Demonstrated skills in behaviour support
  • Active contribution and genuine interest in the company
  • Current driver's licence
