Abercrombie & Kent Australasia, an international company widely regarded as the leading luxury travel company in the world are seeking to appoint a Cruise Account Manager Australia, based in their Head Office in Melbourne.

Abercrombie & Kent was founded in 1962 and has grown into an international travel group operating in more than 100 countries.

Abercrombie & Kent is all about "Inspiring Experiences." Their Cruise Division, Akorn Destination Management, is a specialised division offering first class services in shore excursions, extended land programs and turnaround services to the cruise industry.

The Cruise Account Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager.

This is a permanent full-time position and is responsible for managing cruise accounts throughout all the ports of Australia, ensuring meticulous pre-season planning and smooth delivery of the operation.

Knowledge and understanding of the cruise industry is essential along with prior experience in the travel / cruise industry, and excellent product knowledge of Australia and Cruise ports.
Knowledge of the Australian Inbound Cruise Market and previous travel industry account management experience would be an advantage with a good level of understanding of the logistics of large people movements preferably in a Cruise environment.
