The role:
- Manage inbound and/or outbound calls, with the outcome being servicing or selling insurance products.
- Understand and interpret underwriting guidelines to decline policies that fall outside risk appetite where applicable.
- Action daily tasks and reports within prescribed timeframes.
- Compliance with all relevant Policies and Procedures.
What we're looking for:
- Insurance industry experience advantageous but not essential (training will be provided)
- Call centre experience (favourable)
- Experience within customer service
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- Ability to listen and communicate in a respectful manner
- Show empathy
- Skills in negotiation, asking probing questions, customer service, persuasion or investigations
- Sound interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport
