We are currently seeking an
Accessory Team Leader working day shift Monday to Friday, with possible overtime at our Monier Roofing - Vermont site.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation of appropriate elements of the WHSE plan
  • Accurate Safety and Environmental reporting
  • Maintain site forklift check sheets and ensure all check sheets are returned
  • Conduct accident / incident and near miss investigations
  • Conduct weekly toolbox talks to reenforce WHSE policies
  • Perform daily prestart checks to ensure that the plant and mobile equipment are in good condition prior to production startup
  • Ensure that all WHSE procedures are followed within the accessories area
  • Ensure the Accessories area housekeeping is at a high standard
  • Be involved with improvement teams to increase production and develop methods to improve efficiency
  • Hands on organisation of the crews
  • Relieving crew members who are: on a break; unexpectedly absent or on unplanned leave
  • Duties may be varied from time to time consistent with training and skills and such varied duties are to be performed to standards, which will be specified as required

The successful applicant will possess:


  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Strong commitment to improving WHSE and achieving Zero harm
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and a high level of commitment to work effectively in a multiskilled team environment
  • Self motivated and a willingness and ability to share skills
  • Demonstrated ability in continuous improvement
  • Experience in working in a self managed team environment preferred
  • Sound computing skills including general Microsoft products
