    Description

    Our client, a leading Australian University, is looking for a Salesforce Data Analyst to join their team on a 6 month daily rate contract. You will work with multiple stakeholders across the University and within Business Services to provide data analysis, documentation, mappings and reporting for initiatives, projects and backlog items.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyzing and interpreting data from Salesforce Instances, Oracle database, Excel Spreadsheets and other sources using statistical techniques, data mining, and visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Data Model Documentation and Comparisons: Documentation of data models from existing Salesforce instances and other systems,
    • Data Collection and Extraction
    • Data Cleaning and Validation
    • Report Generation
    • Performance Tracking

    Key Skills Required:

    • Relevant postgraduate qualifications with significant experience in the field Data Analysis.
    • Extensive experience of data analysis with Salesforce and Oracle in Higher Education, with exposure to the Salesforce Higher Education Data Architecture or the Salesforce Education Cloud data model.
    • Ability to present data visually through charts, graphs, and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to effectively communicate findings and insights.
    • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation tasks.
    • Strong understanding of SQL (Structured Query Language) and/or Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
