What's the role?
With multiple instances across the enterprise, Salesforce touches our advertising sales, subscriptions, marketing & retail circulation business units.

Our Salesforce team provides support and a deep understanding of the platform, its integration points and the interactions and processes carried out by the business.

Forming part of this team you will bring technical knowledge of Salesforce and a consultative approach to working with business and technical stakeholders alike.

As one of our Salesforce Technical Leads you will provide technical and solution leadership across the Salesforce delivery portfolio.

You will lead our Salesforce technical team and you'll be responsible for delivering projects, continuous improvement activities and operational support.


Who you are

  • You will have strong written and verbal communication skills; capable to explaining very technical scenarios to nontechnical people
  • You will have strong people leadership skills with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong commercial aptitude and prior experience managing cross functional stakeholders.
  • Prior experience leading Salesforce teams consisting of both administrator and development skill sets.
  • You will have extensive knowledge of Salesforce development practices, inclusive of Sales, Service and Community Cloud, Components, APEX, Tiggers, Visualforce, Lightning, Controllers, CPQ (Cloudsense) etc.
  • Prior experience providing best practice and organisational health recommendations.
  • You will have extensive experience designing and developing Salesforce integrations using integration frameworks such as SOAP or Rest.
  • Demonstrable experience with all phases of the SDLC using either Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Knowledge of development languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, XML, Java and HTML will be imperative and you will be Salesforce certified.
