About the role:


As the Business Partner - Occupational Health & Safety you will take the lead with key stakeholders and create a single point of contact with senior leaders within their respective management portfolios.


Reporting to the Manager - Field Support, this is a permanent role requiring you to take the lead with key stakeholders and create a single point of contact with senior leaders within their respective management portfolios.

The role will however require some travel to our operational regions and metropolitan work sites.

You'll be based in Leederville. It's a small, but vibrant suburb with plenty of cafes and nice places to eat. And you'll only have to walk 5 to 6 minutes from the train station to get to your desk.


What the role will involve:


  • Track, monitor and provide the business with recommendations and key learning's from incident data analysis including input into the annual review of the Corporate Risk Profile.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain OSH Incident Management Procedures.
  • Track and review the quality of all incident investigation reports.
  • Conduct reviews of incident data where adverse trends and patterns appear and initiate cluster investigation. Provide recommendations for improvements to business process areas to ensure learnings are shared across the business.
  • Deliver / coordinate the delivery of awareness and training programs across the Corporation.

Key skills and experience:


  • Degree level qualification in an Occupational Safety and / or Health related discipline, or extensive equivalent professional experience in a large multidisciplined organisation.
  • Substantial experience within a large multidisciplined organisation and demonstrated capability and knowledge of delivering broad ranging OSH hazards & incident management investigations, consultancy, and delivery services, and influencing OSH strategies, plans, programs, systems, and cultural change initiatives.
  • Considerable experience and demonstrated achievements in participating with and advising a multidisciplinary workforce.
  • Demonstrated experience in report writing at a senior level
