The Company

Located in Brisbane, this large mining services organisation with a global presence, is seeking a talented and experienced Internal Auditor.

The company prides itself on its dedicated and experienced staff, with a wealth of expertise and a customer base going back over 50 years.

The Role

This operational Internal Audit role, will support the Head of IA, and assist the Head of IA in all areas of the execution of the audit strategy, including risk, OHS and other general Internal audit matters.

You will provide the relevant assurance to all the various stakeholders within the business as well as externally.

Specifically you will help:

Collaborate, influence and safeguard both current and future service internal audit deliverables, and operate within the companys risk management framework.

Continually support and strengthen the brand and culture.

You will be a qualified accountant (CA/CPA), and able to influence and proactively develop relationships and stakeholders at all levels.

Good communication skills, an ability to liaise with all levels and various different operational heads, and ideally with some prior experience in Internal audit / risk background will be preferred.

A background in manufacturing, mining /engineering services will be highly regarded but not essential.
