Salary relative to experience, ranging from $ 101,947 to $ 112,849 + super

Our Delivery Coordination Digital & Insights branch at NSW Planning is currently seeking a
Content Advisor to provide advice and deliver services, to ensure that the NSW Planning Portal data and content is developed, sourced and appropriately managed.

This role is key in ensuring content is accessible by the citizens of NSW as well as other state agencies.

About You

In this role you will monitor and maintain the NSW Planning Portal and affiliated sites, including Special Infrastructure Contributions, Voluntary Planning Agreements, Planning Panel Secretariat and BASIX, to ensure that data is current and accurate.

You will also develop new pages and sites as required and collaborate with the Department's central Communications team to support internal and external stakeholders to meet their legislative obligations, such as announcing Exhibitions on the Portal and uploading relevant documentation and public submissions.

You will ensure all written content on the NSW Planning Portal and affiliated sites is approved and in line with NSW Government design standards and ePlanning leadership team business requirements.

You will have an excellent ability to translate complex technical information into easy to understand plain English website content, correspondence and communications, with a high degree of accuracy and will contribute to the development and implementation of data collection and management programs, to ensure ready availability of quality data to key internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or experience in one or more of the following areas: communications, marketing, community development, data analysis, website design.
