    As our new Lead Sustainability Engineer, you'll be a vital part of the team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable. Your role will include

    • Build on our existing key client relationships
    • Collaborate with a global team of sustainability professionals
    • Support senior staff in project management, project delivery and business development
    • Support and mentor junior staff in project delivery and professional development.
    • Contribute to and deliver NABERS, LEED, WELL, ISCA, Passive House and Green Star ratings
    • Project advice on best practice sustainable design

    We value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.

    As well as experience in a Lead Sustainability Engineer role. Specifically

    • Demonstrated experience in ESD and Engineering
    • Bachelor of Engineering, Architecture, or relevant field
    • Green Star Accredited Professional
    • Strong expertise and experience in sustainable building design, energy efficient technologies, renewable energy, and energy simulations
    • Project management and deliver of Green Star certification, and preferably any of WELL / NABERS / LEED / ISCA / Passive House
    • Climate change resilience and adaptation
    • The optimisation of building design to reduce carbon intensity through passive design
    • In-depth building energy simulation, system performance simulation, daylight modelling, thermal and energy modelling
    • Must be required to achieve baseline clearance
    • Section J and JV3 reports and assessments, ESD and SMP reports
