Job Summary


This position is an opportunity for a self-motivated Sustainability Consultant passionate about renewable energy systems, innovation, sustainability, and environmental responsibility.

Our global business strategy is to focus heavily on net-zero carbon design. This is a one year contract position with potential for further extension.

Responsibilities & Qualifications


The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders including corporate Sustainability Program Managers, Project Managers, and Facility Management teams to ensure projects are compliant with design and operational sustainability requirements.

The Role:

  • Support the implementation, development and tracking of sustainability standards, initiatives and data.
  • Conduct research and analysis on complex sustainability topics.
  • Develop and deliver sustainability training, workshops, and technical support for stakeholders.
  • Manage data collection, quality and reporting to track progress towards set sustainability goals while identifying and resolving issues with team members along the way.
  • Coordinate with regional and global teams to ensure consistency in sustainability goals and implementation.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on sustainability strategy and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across client organisations.
  • Share and report updates on regional progress with key stakeholders.
  • Design regional specific key scope strategies across carbon emissions, waste management, water efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of consulting experience preferably in the building industry
  • Strong understanding of sustainability principles and practices
  • Experience in project management, data analysis, and metric development
  • Strong reporting writing skills and strong consulting skills
  • Organised and effective team member, able to work easily with others, manage staff, negotiate, and effectively delegate
  • Advanced Interpersonal skills with clients and staff
  • Advanced communication and coaching skills
