The Company


This well-established consulting firm has recently seen considerable growth and success require an experienced Project Coordinator to join on this exciting project that has national long term importance.


The Role

As Project Coordinator you will provide project management support to a team of consultants working closely with the team's leadership to manage the planning, resourcing and delivery of the various streams of work within the overall client contract.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • End to end project administration, including preparing, implementing, monitoring, and updating project plans, status reports and quality control.
  • Development and coordination of multiple projects operating in parallel across different streams of work.
  • Management of project plans and documentation using Jira and Confluence skills.
  • Monitor and manage staff resource usage for the team which includes a broad crosssection of professionals (principals, senior consultants, consultants, and analysts).
  • Monitoring of performance against budget and management of the client billing process.
  • Foster strong communications between the project team members, contributing to teamwork and overall successful delivery of client work.
  • Monitor and manage project risk in relation to key aspects such as resourcing, communications, billing, quality and completion.
  • Coordination across the team of the delivery of all project management requirements.
  • Focus on process improvement in relation to overall project management
  • Coordinate, with administrative support staff, the scheduling of project meetings, both internal and client.
  • Manage the preparation of meeting agendas, papers & minutes.

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Solid Project coordination or senior project Coordination experience within Corporate business (professional services firm will be highly regarded but not essential)
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise work for self and team in an environment with multiple and conflicting demands.
  • Ability to draft and format complex written documents.
  • Ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities, meet strict deadlines and pay attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and work both independently as there is no project Manager only senior consultants
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters diplomatically and discreetly.
  • A broad knowledge of a range of computer packages, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira and Confluence
