The Opportunity
Now is an exciting time to join Stockland as we accelerate the execution of our Strategy.


Reporting into the Treasury Services Manager this newly created role is responsible for assisting with delivering high quality and accurate treasury services activities, including treasury operational and transactional banking support, to assist in the management of the Group's treasury function.


Responsibilities include and not limited to:

  • Monitor and consolidate daily cash positions and support co-ordination of cash movements between accounts and subsidiaries.
  • Prepare shortterm cashflow forecast for management review, identify funding requirements and coordinate administration and confirmation of appropriate funding (including preparation of notices and payments).
  • Support the workflow of all treasuryrelated transactions (debt, derivatives, bank guarantees & bonding), including coordinating all confirmations, authorisations & payment/settlements.
  • Assist with maintenance of all transaction banking activities & associated KYC processes, including opening & closing accounts, updating authorised signatory listings and system access maintenance.
  • Assist with arranging bank guarantees and insurance bonds including analysis of exposure limits and liaising with business units to support with operational matters.
  • Support financial reporting of treasury activities, ensuring accurate records are maintained, reconciliations are undertaken and relevant accounting applied to all treasury instruments.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reporting related to treasury activities, including (amongst others) maintenance of debt & derivative schedules, banking & signatories registers, marktomarket reporting as well as regular compliance & counterparty exposure reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant business processes and controls as well as management of risk & compliance matters/incidents and internal audit action items.
  • Liaise and develop effective relationships with all stakeholders including banks & internal business units; and
  • Proactively contribute to continuous improvement across business processes and controls, management systems and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and controls.

We are looking for a collaborative finance professional who has the ability to adapt in a changing and agile environment.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:


  • Experience in Treasury operations (back office) role
  • Solid technical & analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Commercially oriented, insightful and illustrates curiosity.
  • Experience with using SAP and/or Reval is desirable.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification is required, such as in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics etc.
  • CA/CPA or equivalent accreditation is preferred
