An exciting customer-facing role in Stockland Merrylands Shopping Centre is available now, come and be part of the centre management team.


About the role:


Based on our Customer Care desk, you will be tasked with providing superior customer service as well as support to the centre management team during weekends.

This role has the option of picking up additional shifts to cover Personal & Annual Leave.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Address diverse customer's needs and values and provide an exceptional service to our customers in line with Stockland's brand essence. (not sure about bullet point)
  • Gather, qualify and quantify customer feedback, complaints and compliments and effectively communicate these to the Stockland business which aims to improve the design, services and retail mix of its centres in line with the customer's needs.
  • Implement all national & LAM marketing campaigns at Customer Care Desk in accordance with campaign action plans.
  • Manage all duties associated with the running of the Customer Care desk within the centre.
  • Maintain strong relationships with centre retailers, contractors and fellow employees which promotes a positive team environment and a high level of service towards our customers.
  • Communicate proactively with other Customer Care team members.
  • Be flexible within the team environment.
  • Contribute to regular centre management and customer care team meetings, and also other forms of team communications.

About you:


  • Experience delivering great face to face and phonebased customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound administrative skills and basic working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and a resilient attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen ability to show initiative
