Role:


Applications for casual academic teaching staff for Semester at the University of Adelaide College, Melbourne Campus (UoAC-(M)), are now open, and applicants are encouraged to submit expressions of interest by April 10, 2024.

Recruitment will be a joint process between the University of Adelaide and its partner provider, the University of Adelaide College, a Kaplan Higher Education entity.

The discipline areas for which we are recruiting casual teachers in Semester 2 include:

  • Accounting and Finance
  • Accounting
  • Communication and Management
  • Communication and Law
  • Computer Science
  • Corporate Finance
  • Economics
  • Academic English
  • English
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Marketing
  • Project Management

Criteria for Selection include:


  • Minimum of postgraduate degree in an area relevant to UoAC (M) discipline areas that underpin the teaching program and meet the requirements of Higher Education Standards and the AQF framework.
  • Evidence of relevant and current industry experience.
  • Evidence of quality teaching and assessment skills in higher education.
  • A willingness to work with local and interstate colleagues in delivering award and nonaward courses and adhere to compliance requirements.
  • A requirement to undertake an induction program and to complete mandatory online training as required for all staff at the University of Adelaide College.
