About this role:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Employee Support Officer to join our People Support team.

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer support and services, as well as supporting the effective delivery of People & Culture (P&C) activities.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Promote high standard customer service by answering general enquiries and responding to difficult and complex issues via multiple channels, using tact and discretion in sensitive situations, and initiative and judgement in referring matters to appropriate officers / areas or following up as required.
  • Provide administrative services that support the delivery of effective People Support activities, in alignment with agreed scope of works and service level expectations, which includes identifying and contributing to the continual improvement of those activities and related processes.
  • Action the effective input and retrieval of data through multiple electronic systems including creating, updating, and managing HR and payroll related data for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Maintain electronic records and information storage and retrieval according to audit and records management requirements.
  • Contribute to program and project work in relation to People Support operations, systems, and processes as required, to support People Support and broader P&C deliverables.
  • Develop a sound working knowledge of P&C acts, awards, policies, processes, procedures and systems to support the provision of highquality customer service to customers to agreed results within timelines advised.

To be successful you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Proven experience delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer inputs across multiple channels simultaneously.

Special Conditions:The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:


ASO2:
$56,987 - $61,301.
