Our Queensland Pavements business is currently looking for a Quality Management Representative to provide engineering, CQR and contractual support on road construction and maintenance projects.

What you'll bring

Bachelor of Civil Engineering
Demonstrated commitment to ensuring a safetyfirst culture.
Sound understanding of the development, implementation and maintenance of quality, safety and environmental management systems.
Understanding of spray seal, asphalt & stabilisation mix designs, road pavement methodology & technology.
Understanding of construction materials test methods, interpretation of test reports and provide engineering advice to field crews, project managers and clients.
Ability to manage the CQR responsibility on projects to achieve timely outcomes required of all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Liaising with project stakeholders to undertake audits within the project.
Uploading of project QA in internal and external databases as required.
Issuing of Quality/Safety plans when required for various projects.
Contract administration including the preparation of progress claims.
Liaise with the Contracting Manager on job specific matters such as timing, specifications and quality of existing pavements.
Know and recognise the signs of fatigue.
