About the Roles

Our client is seeking multiple Mechanical Fitters Welders for workshop based roles in the Kwinana Industrial Area (Kwinana, Henderson, Hope Valley) working on heavy fabrication and crushing equipment.

Long term roles with some fulltime, permanent positions on offer. Previous workshop experience needed.

Details:

Competitive rates on offer with great penalties

Mon - Sat (optional Saturday work)

hour work week (if you choose to do overtime)

6, 8, 10 or 12 hr day - choose which suits you

Overtime paid with penalties after 8 hours

Gross up to $4300 per week

Duties:

Conducting mechanical repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment.

Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.

Conducting routine inspections to identify potential faults.

Installing, dismantling, and assembling mechanical components.

Requirements:

Australian recognised trade qualification or equivalent (Mechanical Fitting/Turning)

Demonstrated post trade experience in the mining or heavy industry within a process plant environment

Working at Heights, Confined Space, Gas test atmosphere tickets (desirable)

White Card

High Risk Work Licence:
Dogging/Rigging/Forklift (desirable)

WA Driver's Licence

Capability to pass a technical aptitude test

Lathe and milling work desirable but not essential

National Police Clearance (within 1 year or willing to apply)

Australia Working Rights

Must pass Pre-employment Medical & DAS
