What's your role?
The Experience Design Manager will lead a team of Experience Designers to develop their craft and drive the ideation and development of user experience design in support of key enabling capabilities and strategic initiatives across the Bupa APAC market unit, as well as provide advisory and direction around Bupa digital experience design standards, best practice, and methods in support of design operations across Bupa APAC.
What will your day look like?
- Provide vision, design direction, and operational oversight of design activities in support of the establishment, growth and optimisation of coherent customer experiences across platforms, and will promote quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the design process.
- Maintain a sound comprehension of Brand policy and digital guidelines, and play a key role as advisory, to ensure alignment and adherence across digital delivery
- Will increase efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of Experience Designers across Bupa APAC through implementation of centralised tools, standards/guidelines, accelerators/templates and working practices
- People management, supporting the growth and development of their direct reports
- Produce strategic design deliverables and provide advisory services in support of key market unit digital enablers and strategic business initiatives
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Bupa design standards and guidelines, supporting the development of additional documentation where required
- Tools and methods
- Keeping up to speed on emerging design trends, maintain a forward view for applicability for Bupa APAC and championing change
What will you bring?
If some of the skills and experiences outlined below resonate with you, we'd love to hear from you
- 5+ years of experience in a leadlevel experience/product design role
- Experience working within a large, multiteam Agile environment
- People management experience and supporting the growth and development of team members
- Expert working knowledge and experience using Figma
- Knowledge of contemporary online patterns, interaction paradigms and core online experiences
- A strong portfolio of digital design work with a focus on website design (demonstrating knowledge of web technologies, typical online patterns, interaction paradigms and core online experiences)
- Practical familiarity with digital design principles and standards, with clear judgment/rationale for design direction. Must have multiformat, multiscreen awareness
- A tertiary qualification in relevant digital or technical disciplines or equivalent work experience
- Have excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate and formally present creative concepts and rationale to other team members and business stakeholders
