About the Opportunity:

_ We are looking for a casual experienced Dental __Assistant_
_/Receptionist to join our team_

Our casual shifts are generally between 8am-5:15pm Monday to Friday. In this role you will have 2 set days, with the option to pick up additional.

The Heart of the Role:

Meet and greet patients, providing a great first impression
Book and amend appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
Making patients aware of dental services and offers
Develop and maintain positive relationships by providing excellent customer service to our patients
Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
Deliver quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
Provide instrument sterilisation and infection control solutions
Maintain and implement infection control standards and procedures
Patient care from entry to the surgery and recall management

What you'll bring:

6+ months dental assisting experience
Skilled at tackling challenges both on your own and as part of a team, while paying close attention to the little things
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate about customer service/patient care
Maintaining an orderly environment with a knack for systematic approaches
Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, lighthearted manner
