- Developing, delivering, measuring and optimising communications for direct audiences to be used across all brands
The Role - This role is responsible for developing, delivering, measuring and optimising communications for direct audiences (including financial wellbeing, superannuation members, direct investors and mortgage clients) to be used across all brands (MLC, IOOF and ANZ) across paid and owned channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Writing, editing and due diligence
- Assist the Technical team with the delivery of technical and legislative updates to clients.
- Assist the Research team with editing commentary and articles for clients.
- Ensure all marketing communications materials are compliant and in line with the relevant brand TOV and Style Guides.
- Drafting, editing and reviewing communications material at a highly professional level for a variety of internal and external audiences.
- Ensure that all communications align with the overall strategic imperatives for the marketing team, and business as a whole.
- Ensure communications are completed to agreed deadlines and report on achievements and progress.
- Ensure content is amplified across channels to maximise immediate return in terms of key measures such as engagement, web traffic and SEO performance and that it builds long term customer value for our brands through awareness and affinity.
- Regular client communications
- Develop and manage a range of regular clientfacing publications, including newsletters for superannuation members, Federal Budget communications etc
- Seek ways to ensure content is scalable so that it can be leveraged across segments and brands (MLC, IOOF and ANZ). Support for projects and campaigns
- Assist other members of the Marketing team, initiate or participate in other projects as required.
- Key participant in important client communications such as the biannual Federal Budget.
- Stakeholder management
- Develop positive and constructive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders so that communications are developed in line with both stakeholder expectations and marketing guidelines.
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:
- Degree in Marketing or Communications
- 7+ years' experience in financial services marketing strong focus on B2C audiences
- Understanding of content strategy and the role of content in the customer funnel, including touchpoints, channels and engagement.
- A solid understanding of superannuation, and retirement audiences their needs, pain points, behaviours etc.
- Ability to brief and guide external writers etc.
