Reporting to the Stores Manager
This role is responsible for providing support to the supply chain through:

Safe operation of a forklift & other hand trucks (Walk Behinds)
Receival, put away, picking & dispatch of goods
Distribution and replenishment of packaging, ingredients, engineering & maintenance items to/from various departments on site
Housekeeping of store yards & packaging stores
Performing Store person duties as required
Checking, counting and stocktaking of inventory as required
Identification of hazards in the workplace

Selection Criteria

Must be a licensed, experienced, and skilled Forklift operator
Physically fit
Good work ethic
Good communication skills
Must be able to work independently and unsupervised
Customer care skills in this service role
Basic computer skills and willing to be trained in stock management software
Flexibility with hours and overtime if required
Safety Awareness
Chemical handling experience
Ability to learn and perform new tasks
HR License is a plus

Working hours and environment:

38 hours 4 days a week, including weekends, which may include shift work & evenings
The work can be dusty, dirty and physically demanding, with some heavy lifting
