This senior role exists to consider Shift's overall lending portfolio performance within an agreed risk appetite. You'll be heavily involved in data & portfolio analysis work to recommend product targets and identify opportunities. We'll look to you for recommendations for product and channel enhancements, providing regular reports and updates to senior management.


Reporting directly into the Chief Risk Officer, you'll be a lead influencer on our underwriting policy and model settings, working in collaboration with our internal Product & Pricing Committee.

We have a specialist Data team and you'll be a key stakeholder, enhancing the PD model and to leverage data-driven insights and analytics.


Qualifications:


Relevant bachelor or masters qualifications in:

  • Mathematics, statistics and/or
  • Commerce/Business/Engineering

Experience

  • Years plus Relevant experience in Credit Portfolio Management at a Financial Institution
  • Retail and/or Commercial experience
  • Strong background in credit risk measurement techniques, including experience in risk modelling, credit scoring, and loss forecasting
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and datadriven decisionmaking, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Solid understanding of credit risk management principles and industry best practices
