Description
Are you a talented and driven Technical Delivery Manager?

Join our Payments Team in Sydney, within Commodities and Global Markets, and play a key role in transforming our technology environment.

We are embarking on the migration of our existing enterprise payments hub to a public cloud environment.

We are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to run the migration and establish a new environment that maximises cloud functionality, meets performance, controls and assurance requirements, and minimises the ongoing burden of system management.

If you are interested in the challenge of successfully delivering a transformative change to a critical payment system, without any impact to business operation, then we are keen to hear from you.

In this role, you will join an established team, working with great colleagues, in a flexible and stimulating environment that is constantly evolving.

You'll be working with talented engineers and platform experts - together, you will design, plan, and implement the migration.

If you have experience leading technical delivery teams, are passionate about tech, are a problem solver and looking for a complex challenge, then we'd love to consider you for this role.

You will work alongside the Technology Owner, Cloud Architects, System Engineers, Platform SMEs, Business, and Technology stakeholders and other technical teams with a key focus to drive and successfully deliver the migration.

We anticipate that to excel in this role you will ideally have:

  • Experience in transformation projects
  • Ability to work in cross functioning and multiple delivery teams
  • Experience in using JIRA / Confluence
  • Familiarity with cloud computing principles (AWS)
  • Testing practices
  • Stakeholder management
  • Progress reporting, change governance and risk management
  • Vendor management

Bonus for any of the following:

  • Experience of payments platforms
  • especially Fusion Global PAYplus (GPP) (Finastra)
  • Project delivery skills, especially planning and estimation

  • Systems experience

  • UNIX (RHEL), Windows Server, Oracle DB.
  • Lead continuous refinement and prioritization of delivery
  • Forecasting and people management
