Description

Supervisor - Financial Markets & TreasuryOur client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Markets and Treasury Supervisor to join their dynamic team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a global operation, utilising a 24-hour follow-the-sun model.
The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on increasing customer satisfaction, developing a high-performing workforce, and implementing cost-efficient business practices

What you'll do:
Ensure daily operational processing obligations are met while maintaining high customer service levels
Act as the central operational contact for debt markets or trade-related queries
Work closely with the Manager for workflow planning, resource scheduling, risk management, and situation management
Ensure effective physical daily handover of work between shifts for seamless transition
Act as the first point of escalation for the team and business partners
Support the Manager with monthly RCSA testing and Quarterly SOX testing
Identify opportunities for system and process enhancements
Take ownership of training and development needs
Proactively partner with Trading, Sales Desks, and Relationship ManagersWhat you bring:Minimum of 2 years industry experience preferred
Specific product knowledge (Securities products such as European & Domestic Bonds, Repo)
Specific system knowledge (Austraclear, RITS , Euroclear , Murex & CTM)
Excellent focus on attention to detail with the capability to work in a fast-paced environment
Energetic and motivated with good interpersonal skills
Confident communicator with positive approach towards acquiring product and systems knowledge
Flexible team player with the ability to work under pressureAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
