The Balance Sheet Management and Funding team work across high impact areas within Banking and Financial Services Treasury. We use our financial and numerical skills to optimise and monitor balance sheet opportunities in a dynamic and fast-growing bank.

What role will you play?

You will work closely with core teams within the function to optimise, manage, and monitor cost of funds and balance sheet outcomes. You will also use your analytical skills to deliver risk and commercial insights to senior stakeholders. Working within a high performing team you will be supported by highly talented and technical peers.

What you offer

• Strong academic background in a financial or quantitative degree such as accounting, economics, or mathematics
• Good understanding of financial markets and key risk factors for financial products, including banking products and interest rate derivatives
• Strong understanding of treasury concepts, balance sheet and profit and loss is preferred (e.g. Cost of Funds and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book)
• Strong data analytics and modelling skills to solve complex problems
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple language to senior stakeholders
• Experience in SQL and a language such as R/Python is highly desirable.
