We have an exciting role for a Communications Specialist within the Corporate Communications team at Bosch Australia's state-of-the-art headquarters in Clayton, VIC.


You will be charged with the responsibility of communicating on topics as broad and diverse as automated driving, sustainability, advanced manufacturing, smart homes and the rich history of our company.

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Communications, this role can make a positive contribution to society with oversight of our Corporate Citizenship program.


Qualifications:


We are looking for a conscientious professional who can work across multiple business areas on a range of communication topics and safeguard the integrity of our brand and company reputation.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have

  • Exceptional written communication and grammatical understanding for the preparation of media releases, internal stories, social media posts and award submissions.
  • Strong attention to detail with regard to content creation targeted to specific audiences
  • The ability to identify news angles, pitch a story and preempt questions and connections on strategic communication topics
  • A strategic mindset to maximise brand awareness and recognition for relevant markets
  • An ability to form and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A willingness to offer ideas and explore creative ways to deliver on communications objectives
  • Proficient in MS Office, working knowledge of social media platforms. Knowledge of Meltwater platform advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously


You will have bachelor's degree in journalism / Communications / Public Relations / marketing and have experience engaging with media and external stakeholders.


This role is a
permanent part time position, 4 days per week Monday - Thursday. Hours are flexible with an option to work from home one day per week.
