Take your administrative role to the next level, supporting Directors in a corporate yet client focussed and rewarding not-for-profit environment.

The Role


The Executive Officer role is responsible for the provision of efficient, effective, executive administration support to the Deputy Director, Director/CEO (hereafter referred to as Director), in order to ensure the coordination of organisational executive support functions.


The role will focus on providing professional and confidential support to the Directors including coordinating minutes and agendas for Executive Management Team (EMT), the Advisory Council, Executive of the Curia (EOC), the Diocesan Finance Committee (DFC), Adelaide Archdiocese Consultative Panel and other nominated Executive meetings.


This position will also provide administration support to the other staff within the Corporate Directorate responsible for governance, marketing, human resources, communications and Catholic mission, and will coordinate event management for the Directors Office, in consultation with Media and Marketing roles.

What you need to bring

Essential

  • Executive Officer or Senior Administration experience
  • Formal Business Administration qualification and/or or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience in the provision of a confidential administrative service in supporting Executive roles.
  • Extensive experience within the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check. (previously known as 'Child-Related Employment Screening Clearance')
  • Valid NDIS Worker Check
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Ability to travel between offices and do some work outside of standard hours when required.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in Community / Non-Government organisation
  • Experience with webbased tools
  • SharePoint, Expr3ss, Skype
  • Demonstrated experience in managing events
