Job Summary
This position is instrumental in the efficient operation of the ANZ Category business.

Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Category Managers, marketing, sales, finance, and supply chain, you will play a key role in driving business growth and achieving organizational objectives through meticulous business planning.

Your primary focus will be on managing crucial business cadence cycles to ensure seamless operations and strategic execution.


Key Activities

  • Rolling 4Qtr 4P planning.
  • Quota Planning both within the Category and across RTMs
  • Game Plan ( quarterly ) within the Category and across RTMs
  • Overall management and maintenance of planning cycle calendar and key timelines for deliverables
  • Creation of management presentations for planning cadences

Responsibilities

  • Deep understanding of the category product, business management and sales challenges and strategies.
  • Actively contributes to the definition of the category business plan.
  • Establishes relationships and represents team with sales force and other partners at senior level.
  • Oversee and drive 4P planning and quarterly planning cadence.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize data analytics and market research to gather insights where it relates to 4P planning. Translate insights into actionable recommendations to drive business decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product performance, pricing effectiveness, and promotional ROI. Implement tracking mechanisms and reporting frameworks to measure success and identify areas for improvement as part of 4P planning.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of longterm strategic plans and annual operating plans. Provide input on budgeting, resource allocation, and forecasting activities related to 4P planning initiatives.

Education and Experience Required

  • University or Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or Finance.
  • Typically 812 years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experienced preferred.
  • Consumer and/or Commercial experience in similar role

Knowledge and Skills

  • IT industry knowledge.
  • Business planning skills, multidimensional.
  • Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage high complexity business planning and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills at senior management internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.
  • Leadership skills and cross functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing)
