The Opportunity


In this position, you will be required to work one Saturday a month from 9 am to 4 pm to support and welcome our SEMBA students back to campus.


Some key accountabilities will also include:

  • Managing all administrative processes pertaining to students' academic progress including course planning, enrolment, assessment, and extracurricular events.
  • Developing and coordinating appropriate onboarding processes, this will involve planning and resourcing orientation activities.
  • Project managing program(s) over a lifecycle, ensuring that program delivery occurs to time and budget and complies with agreed policies or frameworks, methodologies and quality assurance processes.
  • Acting as the central point of operational contact for the program(s) assigned to the incumbent.
  • Managing relevant reporting and other monitoring processes to support seamless program delivery and quality assurance.
  • Contributing to the effective and timely communication of information to students by identifying information needs and strategies to deliver on these.
  • Ensuring students are aware of MBS and University of Melbourne policies and support services where applicable.

About you


You will be able to demonstrate similar experience in either a project or program management capacity ideally gained within an academic environment.

Significant experience working within an administrative and process dependant environment together with experience in the use of enterprise systems such as CRM, financial and student management systems will be essential.

You will display a strong customer service focus and a commitment to providing exemplary service, together with superior written and verbal communication skills and strong proficiency and skills in using the Microsoft suite of programs.
