    Description

    An exciting leadership opportunity to oversee a small team of installation technicians in the assessment, repair, Installation and deinstallation MTData dispatch equipment, EFTPOS, taxi meters, security cameras and other taxi equipment.

    This role reports into the TAXITECH Manager and supervises TAXITECH Installers.

    About Your Responsibilities

  • Lead in the development and mentorship of junior Install technicians.
  • Accountable for the day to day running of the Install bay, reporting to the TAXITECH Manager.
  • Ensure the timely repair of the MTData dispatch equipment, EFTPOS machines, taxi meters, security cameras and other taxi equipment
  • Perform fault diagnosis and obtain parts and materials required for repairs.
  • Assisting with diagnosis of vehicle issues relating to the MTData dispatch system, Camera system, of the Cabcharge FAREWAY plus system.
  • Removing and applying decals and livery from Taxis.
  • Interpret manuals and software to identify spare parts and liaise with the TAXITECH Manager in regard to ordering of parts.
  • Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies and performing preventative maintenance.
  • Listens to operator and driver complaints, conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions and replacing parts and components.
  • Comply with all documented Health and Safety policies, procedures, work instructions and verbal instructions issued by the TAXITECH Manager.
  • Ensure that work is done efficiently and in accordance with industry standards.
  • Complete and maintain accurate service and administrative records in compliance with company record keeping requirements.
