Training Design Manager
The role:
- Design, develop and implement effective training, strategies, programs and initiatives our Australian and global clients (UK and UAE)
- Design comprehensive and engaging training programs and initiatives through various blended learning methodologies, such as elearning, simulations, digital, paperbased, workshops
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis through assessments to identify training needs and skills gaps
- Work with key stakeholders to define learning objectives and goals
- Review Competency Matrix for clients and update according to learning needs, legislation and regulators requirements
- Develop training materials, from participant guides, facilitator guides and multimedia content. Draw on instructional design principles and learning theories to create effective and interactive learning experiences
- Review current training material and update where necessary
- Deliver training sessions to train the trainer
- Develop evaluation frameworks and assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies and best practices in training and development
Who are you?
- Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Welldeveloped organisational skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, determine priorities and manage competing deadlines
- Strong sense of ownership to follow your deliverables through to closure
- Based in Melbourne, VIC
Education and Experience
- Proven experience (810 years) as a training professional with expertise in instructional design, organisational learning and training delivery
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Training & Assessment
- Sound technical knowledge and experience with eLearning tools
- Strong project management skills
- Retail background ideal but not necessary
