About the role


We're excited to announce we have expanded our services to offer Support Coordination to eligible participants through National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding.

The aim of the support coordination service is to strengthen participant's ability to navigate the NDIS and coordinate their supports and to facilitate implementation of all supports identified in a participant's plan.


We are seeking a part-time Team Leader with days to increase to Full Time, to work alongside the Managing Director in establishing the support coordination department and expand the clientele base.


Once established your main role is to provide leadership to a team of Support Coordinators and support the daily management of the service across multiple locations in Metropolitan Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan City.

This position works to a standard consistent with the guidelines set out by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).


As the team leader you will provide Support Coordinators with the necessary supervision, training and guidance to fulfil their KPI's in the form of achieving billable hours targets.

The role is performed in a competitive market environment where customer satisfaction with service quality and outcomes is essential for customer retention and attraction, and business sustainability.


Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor level degree in disability, mental health or community/human services, or equivalent and relevant sector experience.

Experience

  • Leadership and management experience in the development and implementation of NDIS disability and mental health programs and services.
  • Significant people leadership experience including establishment of new teams.
  • Demonstrated understanding of current trends in legislation and professional practice relevant to NDIS
  • Welldeveloped capacity and financial management skills including budget development and financial analysis, resource planning and forecasting.
  • Minimum 2 year's experience as a Support Coordinator

Job Types:

Part-time hours: 15 per week

$ $41.00 per hour
