What this opportunity involves:


A fantastic opportunity has arisen due to internal career movement, we are now seeking for a Transaction Manager to join us.


Working for a key telecommunication industry player, you will form part of the Transaction Management team responsible for meeting all contractual requirements nationally.

This includes leasing strategy, governance, transaction activities and financial contract.


This role is a critical enabler to the delivery of the Client's property strategy and plays a significant role in leading lease negotiations and cost reduction initiatives across the client's property portfolio nationally.


What this role involves:


Delivery of Transaction Management activities, including BAU renewals, renegotiations and divestment to secure tenure in line with all contractual property portfolio activities across the client's national portfolio.

Support Lease Admin and finance functions management, inclusive of initiative & budget development, rent-roll variance reporting and approvals.
Delivering optimum commercial outcomes for all the client's leasing negotiations and meeting all annual leasing financial and qualitative targets.

Deliver negotiations supporting the client's property strategy through proactive transaction management negotiations, focusing on securing tenure for existing BAU sites, portfolio cost reduction, etc.

Supporting end-to-end transaction delivery, with oversight of the status of all inflight transactions, from critical date through to executed documentation
Foster strong landlord relationships, particularly with key landlord stakeholders in your state
Support the client's divestment requirements, including serving notices, supporting exit negotiations and any payment or finalisation of documentation
Commitment to support and further develop JLL and the client's transition to technology enabled transaction management such as adoption of TM Essentials or other technology to capture key transaction data points

2 to 3 years' experience in property transactions and associated services with a track record, ideally in a client-facing tenant representation and/or leasing role
Preferred Tertiary qualification in Property, Real Estate, Business, Law or equivalent. Current Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration
Prior experience within the Telecommunication industry and/or a high-volume real estate portfolio will be an added advantage
Ability to deal with a variety of complex issues concurrently, within tight operational deadlines.
Goal oriented and focused on meeting performance targets.
