The Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and service focused
Storeperson to join the team based in Bundamba


Your duties will include:

  • To provide receipt, processing, storage and dispatch of aeronautical product
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions and stock levels
  • Loading and unloading of stock
  • Ensure aeronautical parts are checked and airworthiness documents are in place
  • Undertake regular stock take processes
  • Work in accordance with airworthiness requirements
  • Identify and act on opportunities for improvement
  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others
  • Actively participate as a team member to achieve team goals and deliver to the customer
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance.
  • Certificate III in Transport and Distribution (Warehousing)
  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse/spares/inventory management experience in a maintenance/engineering and/or manufacturing environment
  • A current LF Forklift, High Risk Work Licence
  • Knowledge of and/or experience working with aeronautical product
  • Kitting experience an advantage
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience using inventory management IT systems
  • Highlevel skills in Information Technology packages such as Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience and results with respect to continuous improvement
  • A passion and drive to deliver to keep their customers flying
