The Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and service focused
Storeperson to join the team based in Bundamba
Your duties will include:
- To provide receipt, processing, storage and dispatch of aeronautical product
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions and stock levels
- Loading and unloading of stock
- Ensure aeronautical parts are checked and airworthiness documents are in place
- Undertake regular stock take processes
- Work in accordance with airworthiness requirements
- Identify and act on opportunities for improvement
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others
- Actively participate as a team member to achieve team goals and deliver to the customer
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance.
- Certificate III in Transport and Distribution (Warehousing)
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse/spares/inventory management experience in a maintenance/engineering and/or manufacturing environment
- A current LF Forklift, High Risk Work Licence
- Knowledge of and/or experience working with aeronautical product
- Kitting experience an advantage
- High attention to detail
- Experience using inventory management IT systems
- Highlevel skills in Information Technology packages such as Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience and results with respect to continuous improvement
- A passion and drive to deliver to keep their customers flying
