The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Governance Manager to work for one of the fastest growing and most exciting companies in the Australia aerospace sector.
Your duties include:
- To ensure that MILIS governance tasks as set out in the Electronic Supply Chain Manual (ESCM) and our various Defence contracts are actioned, coordinated, and reported on
- To ensure that MILIS stock taking requirements in accordance with the ESCM and TAE contractual requirements are complied with and completed
- To ensure that IFS stock taking requirements in accordance with our stock taking procedure are delegated, tracked, and completed within the required timeframes
- Develop and provide governance and stock take reporting to senior TAE management.
- Manage, monitor, and report Non-Conformance Report actions.
- Governance Manager is to be a peer in transparency, integrity, and communication methods.
- Share the vision with the team and align activities with the company's strategic direction
- Identify areas of improvement in process and efficiency and establish innovative solutions
- Ensure compliance with all applicable business and customer specific legislative/regulatory requirements
- Achieve high level of customer satisfaction through excellence in governance and stock taking performance
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of Supply chain governance and stock taking experience within an Australian Defence logistics environment
- 5 years of Supply Chain experience
- Relevant qualifications and experience in Supply Chain avenues
- Expert in knowledge of Australian Defence Force logistics processes
- Expert in knowledge of stock taking processes and management
- The ability to attain (or previously attained) National Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1)
- Actively support team cohesion via inclusivity and diversity
DESIRABLE:
- Experience and ability in providing effective reporting to customers
- Experience with software systems SAP, IFS, MILIS
- Experience in Australian military logistics
- Experience in Australian military aviation logistics
- Certifications in logistics and supply chain industry
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Proficient knowledge of ESCM
- Proficient in Australian Defence Force Disposals and Quarantine Process
- Proficient in Shelflife management requirements
