About the role:


Key duties include:


  • Coordinate and assist with sourcing and evaluating talent for potential opportunities across the retail and head office departments.
  • Consult with hiring managers to develop and implement innovative and targeted attraction strategies ensuring Scanlan Theodore has a strong market presence.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial screening interviews, organise panel interviews, assess and recommend prospective talent to hiring managers; conduct reference checks and preemployment checks.
  • Provide advice to management regarding screening and selection.
  • Develop, review and coordinate position descriptions, job advertisements and other recruitment planning activities.
  • Conduct exit interviews, review and analyse feedback. Generate reports and provide commentary on findings for Head of HR.
  • In collaboration with the HR team, deliver targeted recruitment training sessions for the retail department.
  • Qualification in Human Resources or related discipline and/ or experience with internal recruitment within the retail or services industry.
  • Experience using professional social networks e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Basic knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Effective organisation and time management and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proven flexibility, adaptability and able to respond and adjust easily to change in work demands.
  • Ability to travel independently, including weekends, as required.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases is advantageous but not essential.
