This opportunity


The Head of Partner Channel will work closely with the GM of Customer Sales and Solutions to design and implement business plans and strategies required to achieve sales and retention targets via third party Dealers.

You will develop the indirect sales strategy and lead and develop a team of Channel Managers each responsible for a defined list of dealers.

You will be accountable for the establishment, design and implementation of the TPG Partner Program. Additional responsibilities will include the partner channel capabilities for Enterprise & Govt customers. Your drive, positive attitude and leadership will ensure a great customer experience through dealers. You will also lead employee engagement and consistent achievement of the team target.


Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the performance, growth and development of the Indirect Sales channel, channel managers and ensuring you role model appropriate behaviours through your leadership.
  • Develop and implement the indirect sales strategy to increase TPG's current market share within the Small and Enterprise market segment.
  • Driving growth of both fixed and mobile products through existing and new dealers.
  • Acquiring new dealers and building sales capability and creating a highperformance culture
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Lead, coach, develop and motivate Channel Managers nationally.
  • Provide necessary training, development and mentoring to maintain high level of engagement and operational excellence.
  • You will use your superior influencing and operational skills to build excellent relationships with Dealers in order to achieve sales, retention and profitability targets.
  • The role will have a strong growth objective and you will work to build a portfolio of highperforming National Dealers.
  • Your role will see you leading the quarterly and annual plans for the Indirect Channel, assessing productivity, growth potential, and assisting in the education of new products, solutions and value add initiatives to ensure consistency to the Vodafone way.
  • You will define and implement priority initiatives to drive sales results.
  • You will be responsible for identifying and leading improvement opportunities within the team, as well as ensuring appropriate controls are in place to manage risks, including the protection of TPG systems and information.
  • Manage risk by ensuring all channel acquisition risks are understood, mitigated or accepted by the appropriate stakeholders.
  • This role includes ownership of the revenue and cost management strategy for the Indirect Channel along with the EBU Finance Business Partner.

Knowledge and experience

  • Experience in working in a B2B sales environment.
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Proven experience in establishing and operating sales channels in high volume business markets such as telecommunications, energy or financial services.
  • Proven track record of people leadership and development.
  • Proven experience in meeting/exceeding sales targets and KPI's.
  • Possess a strong network of potential dealers.
  • Previous experience in Telecommunications and ICT.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • A handson leadership style that enjoys being customer facing.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Desire and drive for personal development.
  • Adapting and remaining resilient.
  • Highly developed commercial/financial acumen, including pricing, analytics and strategy.
