Reporting to the Head of Clinical and Retail Operations, the Clinical and Retail Operations Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of GMHBA's integrated health insurance and health care services, trading businesses and practices in Geelong and Regional areas.

The key focuses of the role are to deliver quality services including high value customer and patient experiences, exceptional employee engagement and to deliver sales and profitability targets along with commercial growth objectives outlined within the Health and Branch Network strategy.


A key function of the role will be to lead, inspire, develop and manage the team, supporting them to achieve business objectives and driving employee engagement.

This team consists of approximately 7 direct reports as well as numerous frontline employees across geographically disperse locations. In conjunction with your manager this role is accountable for all revenue lines and profit and loss (P&L) statements. You will collaborate with Marketing, Finance and other stakeholders to align revenue strategies and commercial objectives.


With the external functionality of the role you will help drive the efficient and effective utilization of resources, including employees, equipment and facilities, ensuring that staffing levels are conducive to the provision of clinically appropriate levels of service.

In addition there is a strong focus on the operationally compliance, regulatory reporting and broader stakeholder engagement internally.


To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working within the Health Services industry in a multi-site practice management position.

Here you will have Demonstrated leadership experience, in a role with multi-team accountability and strong understanding of clinical operations, healthcare regulations and customer service best practice.

Having the demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions.

Finally you will posse excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to confidently deal with a variety of stakeholders.
