Corporate Communications works closely with the Strategic Communications section to deliver professional communication solutions; including graphic design, production, written communications, and web publishing to support and enable our members to deliver maximum impact to the criminal environment.

As Team Leader Design, you will lead a small team of graphic designers, producing print and web materials for training purposes, corporate education, media and social media promotional assets, and internal and external communications campaigns.

As a Team Leader you also play a pivotal role in developing people, managing change and influencing behaviours that lead to a supportive culture that respects the perspectives, talents and value of each individual.

Consistent with the AFP values, AFP leadership philosophy, organisational reform agendas, AFP corporate business plans and your Performance Development Agreement, the expectation is that you will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.

Help to position the centralised communications capability as a centre of excellence, including remaining up-to-date with modern communications practices and creating an environment of continual learning and development.

You will have to be a motivated and organised individual, who is an excellent communicator and responds strategically and flexibly to changing requirements.

You should have an enthusiastic approach to problem solving and be able to cast a critical eye over processes in order to find workflow improvements.
