    Description

    An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Technical Officer – Corporate Assets to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in Moranbah.

    Reporting to the Manager Corporate Properties, this position is responsible for supporting the Corporate Properties and Fleet department with minor capital works as well as with the coordination, integration and delivery of the Construction, Maintenance and Operational Programs relating to the Corporate Properties and Fleet department at Isaac Regional Council. A day in the life of a Technical Officer – Corporate Assets will be to provide requests for quotations and tenders and produce specifications and technical data related to the works identified in relevant programmes.

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Administrative experience, including a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and skills in policy/procedure development;
    • Experience in planning and scheduling as well as engaging with stakeholders;
    • Experience in procurement and vendor/contract management;
    • Australian 'C' class driver's licence;
    • Construction Blue/White card;
    • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; and
    • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.


    For this position we offer:

    • Salary between $89, $101,697.94 per annum (Stream A Level 5 - 6)
    • Nominally 72.5 hours per week
    • 5 weeks annual leave pro rata @ 17.5% loading
    • Up to 13.5% super in accordance with IRC's Certified Agreement
    • RDO's in accordance with IRC's Certified Agreement
