As a Department Manager at H&M, you will spend 80% of your time where it all happens - on the shop floor.

You are responsible for supporting the sales & profit goals by setting a plan for your department to deliver the best customer experience in line with your store.

You act in line with our values, always with the mindset of everyone is a leader no matter what your role is at H&M, what you do is as important as how you do it.

A day in the life of a Department Manager at H&M

Responsible for delivering exceptional customer service
Promoting our Hello Member program to drive engagement, creating meaningful relationships and providing customer insight
Collaborate with the store Visual team to create an inspiring and exciting customer experience
Training and developing your Sales Advisor team through promoting our feedback culture
Actively promoting our sustainability vision to both your team and customers

Your skills:

Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service
The ability to delegate, follow up and provide straightforward feedback with the goal to coach and develop your team
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks based on the needs of our fastpaced business
The ability to analyze figures and formulate plans to maximize sales
The motivation to drive ambitions and reach business & personal goals
Previous leadership experience with proven sales success & team development (Ideally 1 year)
