Description

Our clients on the south side of Brisbane specialise in the fabrication and welding of pressure pipes, pressure vessels and structural steelwork; they are currently looking for boilermakers and pipe welders to join their team for current and upcoming projects.

Boilermaker rates from $45.00 per hour + penalties + weekly tool allowance

Pipe Welder rates from $50.00 per hour + penalties + weekly tool allowance

For these positions, you will need to meet the following requirements:

Tickets and licences

Certificate III Engineering, Fabrication/1st Class Welder

HRWL

Forklift (highly desirable)

Skills and experience
- ability to read and interpret drawings and P&ID
- strong experience with pressure vessels and pipe
- weld components in all positions
- experience with heavy structural
- ability to pass weld tests
- experience in the manufacturing jigs
- good communication skills
- team player who is positive and energetic in the workplace
- responsible attitude to work safety and safe work methods
- ability to anticipate solutions for issues before the issue arises.
- a practical and logical approach to troubleshooting
- neatly presented and a good communicator
- exceptional work ethic
