CrewSELECT have an exciting permanent fulltime opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper.


Responsibilities:


  • BAS
  • Quarterly.


  • PAYG

  • Monthly.
  • Superannuation lodgement quarterly.
  • Payroll for 33 directly employed, timesheets get submitted currently to do this and approximately 15 labour hire weekly.
  • Long Service Leave quarterly.
  • End of Month (aged payables, reconcile supplier accounts)
  • Accounts payable.
  • Debtors (aged receivables, debt collecting, statements to clients)
  • Accounts receivable.
  • End of week payments
  • Accounts payable.
  • Reimbursements for staff weekly
  • Accounts payable.
  • Supplier invoice entry.
  • Colate for end of financial year for accountant to process annual.
  • Payroll EOFY closing off annual.
  • Payroll Tax which is quarterly.
  • Training incentives.
  • General dealings with the ATO.
  • Assist staff where needed.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Retentions.

About you:


  • 3+ years experience in a similar role preferably in the electrical or blue collar industry.
  • Industry certification preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping principles and practices.

Proficiency in Xero, Simpro and MS Excel

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
