    • Assistant Accountant
    • $85k - $95k
    • 12 month contract
    • Flexible hours & Hybrid
    • Currently studying CPA/CA (1 exam left)
    • SOR

    About you

    • Actively working towards full membership of an internationally recognised accounting body (e.g. ICAA or CPA)
    • Demonstrated understanding and experience in the application, of accounting principles, concepts and practices.
    • Experience in a computerised financial system environment, including advanced Excel and data interrogation skills.

    The Role

    • Provide general assistance and support to the Accountants on financial management, statutory and treasury activities.
    • Support the budgeting and estimation activities.
    • Extract data and provide financial analysis and transaction details as required.
    • Prepare regular general ledger reconciliations.
    • Prepare and update process documentation.
    • Complete transactional activities such as processing journals and resolving routine queries, ensuring actions are appropriately supported and undertaken on a timely basis.
    • Undertake other activities which the incumbent might reasonably be expected to do, and which are consistent with the accountabilities and responsibilities as listed above.
