    NHG - Coal Quality & Logistics Coordinator

    New Hope Group is an Australian energy company based in South East Queensland with interests in coal mining, exploration, port operations, oil, agriculture, technologies, and investments.

    Our Marketing team is looking for an experienced Coal Quality & Logistics Coordinator to support activities by liaising with stakeholders ensuring compliance and business processes. This role reports to the General Manager Marketing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support Marketing and Logistics for New Acland Mine
    • Track coal quality from CHPP to Customer
    • Optimize coal quality to customer specifications
    • Strategic rail scheduling and stockpile management
    • Manage customer cargo scheduling and performance reporting
    • Ensure smooth product coal chain operation
    • Handle laytime calculation and settlement
    • Provide effective customer service and timely delivery support
    • Maintain knowledge of NHG Marketing & Logistics strategy
    • Work on revenue maximization and cost minimization
    • Facilitate day-to-day Domestic coal sales tasks
    • Support Marketing Officer functions
    • Collaborate on Logistics day-to-day operations and Domestic sales
    • Support commercial matters and marketing administration

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Preferred Supply Chain Management or Business qualifications
    • Knowledge of bulk supply chain operations
    • Understanding of thermal coal quality standards
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
    • Attention to detail and data analysis experience
