About the Assignment
The primary objective of this position is to coordinate the day to day transport required to support the Company's operations and development projects.
Core accountabilities include though are not limited to:
- Deliver objectives and plans in Transport function
- Coordinate both international and domestic request for transport for materials and equipment
- Act in a manner compliant with NHVL and CoR regulatory requirements
- Manage the day to day performance of Transport and Logistics contractors
- Conduct analysis on transport and logistics performance and set actions to improve performance
- Maintain accurate cost control of all transport and logistics services
- Provide KPI reporting on transport operations
- Understand change and performance mindset and participates to achieve desired culture outcomes
- Understand team purpose and role accountabilities that need to be delivered
- Contribute to delivering on cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies
- Ensure compliance with and adherence to standards for EHS performance and behaviour consistent with Company's environmental, and health & safety vision and policies and standards
- Compliance with the Santos Management System (SMS)
- Compliance with the Santos Delegation of Authority (DOA)
- Compliance with the Santos Corporate Governance and Safety requirements
About You
Essential experience required for this position includes:
- Previous experience in area of Transport, Heavy Vehicle Scheduling, Freight Forwarding, and international logistics
- Previous experience working within transport management and freight coordination systems
- Transport cost control and invoices
- Supply Chain Systems & ERP
- Logistics & Distribution
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence
- Process Orientation
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office suite
- Purchasing to Pay Processes
- Commercial Negotiations
- Defining Contract Scope and Specifications

Qualifications:
Essential qualifications required for this position are:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work/industry experience in technical area
- Completion of formal Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and relevant Dangerous Goods (DG) transport training courses preferred
