Davidson has proudly partnered with a leading financial service provider to assist them in sourcing a Business Analyst experienced in Finance Transformations.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our client and contribute to a finance re-platform project. This role will involve working across various aspects of finance, particularly focusing on Chart of Accounts simplification, and streamlining of Integration/Data Flows. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance transformation, re-platforming, or system replacement projects, and possess a strong understanding of finance systems and general ledger operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives.
Lead the analysis of current Finance systems and processes.
Identify opportunities for improvement, particularly in Chart of Accounts simplification and Integration/Data Flows.
Conduct detailed analysis of finance data and information.
Engage directly with system and asset owners to comprehend how finance data is utilized.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and drive project success.
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize Finance processes and systems.

About You

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Finance Transformation projects or similar initiatives.
Strong understanding of Finance systems, particularly General Ledger operations.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with complex data sets.
Experience in Chart of Accounts simplification and Integration/Data Flows optimization.
Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
