Description

Our client is diverse organisation that operates across food service / retail and is one of Australia's leading importers, manufacturers, and distributors of food.

They currently have a project related role where they are seeking a qualified Food Technologist.

Duties include:

Updating specifications for third party manufactured products
Reviewing, updating, and verifying labels
Complete / review vital assessments

Ideally you will have:

A qualification in Food Science or similar
An understanding of food standards and related regulations
Experience in specifications and label development and review
An understanding of product safety requirements
An understanding of food processing
Experience in VITAL (an advantage)
Strong I.T. and communication skills
