About the Role
With a strong pipeline of new projects in the mixed use and residential sectors, Development Victoria is seeking a Development Manager to join our team to assist with our Cairnlea and Officer South Employment Projects.
As a Development Manager you will be a key part of the development team focusing on this strategic development and working closely with our public and private sector partners and engaging with communities.
Key responsibilities include- Assisting the team through the planning, design, construction, marketing, and sales, as well as the settlement phases to deliver on Development Victoria's objectives.
- Accurately monitoring cashflow and processing invoices.
- Developing project briefs, Principal's project requirements and other project documents.
- Preparing, monitoring, and updating project programs.
- Coordinating and reviewing project documentation.
- Contributing to management plans and ensuring HS&E obligations are met.
- Keeping stakeholders up to date with issues and developments as directed.
- Participating in community forums and engagement workshops.
About You
You'll be able to demonstrate high level management expertise in the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects together with exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Ideally you will have;
- Tertiary qualifications in property development, construction, civil, or equivalent experience.
- 45 years' experience in managing large scale master planned residential communities including land and built form.
- Prior experience in dealing with engineering and design consultants, contractors, suppliers, and customers.
- Experience working in a corporate, propertyrelated organisation.
- An indepth understanding of, and previous experience preparing and analysing, feasibility studies, project programmes, budgets, costs, and profits.
